Declaring Your Major

North Park University encourages all undergraduates to declare a 主要 by the end of their first year as a student. Students are invited to discuss their potential 主要s, as well as larger academic and life goals, with their assigned 教师顾问.

Students are eligible to declare their 主要 after starting their first semester at North Park.

When do I use a 主要 declaration form?

• When declaring your 主要 for the very first time.
  • 例子: Change your official 主要 from undeclared to BA in psychology
• When changing your 主要.
  • 例子: Changing from BS in nursing to BA in psychology
• When adding on a second 主要 to your previously declared program (double 主要).
  • 例子: Adding BA in Spanish to go along with a BA in biology
• 放弃主修.
  • 例子: Dropping the BA in Spanish, but keeping BA in biology as your only 主要
